On Monday, July 6, come chat with members of The Skillery's team in a Town Hall discussion about the intersection of entrepreneurship and parenthood.
About This Event:
Our mission at The Skillery is to aid and empower creative entrepreneurs, from teams of software developers to striving Etsy sellers. And we know that working parents — particularly working entrepreneur parents — have a very unique mix of challenges, from building a brand and growing a business to balancing family needs and family time.
We want to know more about what we can do to help entrepreneurial parents, so we’re hosting a casual meet-up, where you’ll talk, and we’ll listen. What kinds of resources might help you juggle your kids and your business’ needs? What could we do to help support — and give you time for — creativity? Would having space to work with childcare on site, but not on top of you, give you room to grow?
Think of this meet-up as something between a town hall and a brainstorming session — we’ll talk life, business and the intersection of the two, we’ll have coffee and, we hope, find some inspiring ideas.
A Few Details:
This event is free, and open to the public. Got a kiddo? You are welcome to bring along your little one - we love kids! - as long as your little one doesn't disrupt the discussion, nor distract Skillery members from working nearby. If your kiddo needs a break, we would kindly ask that you step outside.
