Who's it for?
These sessions are ideal for entrepreneurs in any stage of business, from start-ups to serial entrepreneurs, any business owner can benefit from the advice of an experienced attorney who understands the unique needs and experiences of entrepreneurs.
When do these sessions take place?

As part of Rachel's residency at The Skillery, these fifty-minute sessions are available to entrepreneurs at a significantly reduced rate. Coffee is included.
Meet the Attorney:
Entrepreneur and attorney. Not two words that typically find themselves together, but that is the spirit that drives Rachel Schaffer. Her entrepreneurial talents started at a young age due in large part by her family – her grandfather and mother were and are successful entrepreneurs – and grew while enrolled at Northeastern University in Boston. Ever the overachiever, Rachel triple majored in Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Music Industry.
After Northeastern, Rachel jumped right into law school in New Orleans at Loyola University College of Law. New Orleans introduced her to many new things: Mardi Gras, beignets, and the law, not necessarily in that order. Rachel took her undergraduate education further by exploring business law, intellectual property law, and entertainment law, including an internship with the NFL New Orleans Saints.
Because she wanted to be an entertainment attorney just like every other attorney in Nashville, she made the move in 2010 and only looked back in order to take the New York bar exam after successfully completing the Tennessee bar exam.
In 2011 she made the crazy/brave decision to open her own practice. Schaffer Law Firm PLLC was born on March 1, 2011. Soon thereafter, Rachel realized how much she loved helping other local entrepreneurs make their dreams come true. She loves nothing more than seeing her clients open their doors for business for the first time. She now dedicates her practice to assisting local entrepreneurs, believing that all business owners should have access to quality, reasonably priced legal services. In 2012, Rachel started focusing her practice even further on the hospitality industry, including restaurants, bars, breweries and distillers, seeking to become the local choice for alcoholic beverage law in Middle Tennessee.
When she’s not at her beloved office in Edgehill Village, you can find Rachel out running and training for half or full marathons and trail races, Cross Fitting, wrangling in one of her four pets, affectionately her “fur babies”, or enjoying a local craft brew with her husband, Tyler.
