You could have fairly accused The Skillery, at times, of being overly complicated about things.
When we introduced our semi-private workstations — dedicated, leave-your-things-here real estate in our flexible coworking space — the membership fees were a bit of acrobatics. It was an add-on to Full-Time membership that, depending on workstation size and team size, could vary in month-to-month cost. We wanted to do right by different-sized teams and, well, kind of ended up being confusing to everyone (including ourselves).
So, new changes here again, to make everything easier, more clear and more welcoming to teams and solo workers who want their own space at our place.
New rates for semi-private workstations at The Skillery:
Workstation for one: $400/mo
Workstation for two: $800/mo
Our workstations give you a dedicated desk, chair and bookshelf for all your workday needs, available only to you/your team, plus Full-Time Membership and all the trimmings (including a personalized key fob so you can come and go 24/7).
Our space can accommodate your various getting-things-done needs, beyond your workstation — we have huddle rooms for small planning sessions, a conference room for larger meetings, phone booths for private tête-à-têtes, comfy couches and soft seating for brainstorming and a really cool kitchen for when a caffeine jolt is necessary.
Our partners stoke.d run Nashville’s only Design Thinking studio in the rear of our space, and it’s regularly available too, for hands-on problem solving sessions and whiteboard blowouts.
Plus, one of Nashville’s best coffee shops/cafes is right next door: our friends and partners Steadfast Coffee (we have a membership option that includes a Steadfast tab, too).
Not to pat ourselves too hard on the back, but the Nashville Scene named us Nashville’s Best Coworking Space in this year’s Best of Nashville issue, and we tend to think our space and our community is pretty special. Special, and now a little less complicated.
If you’re interested in checking out membership options at our space (including the workstations), you can always start with a trial membership — we have trials for individuals and teams that’ll give you access to The Skillery for a week, and if you stick around, the cost is taken off your first month’s fees.
Let us know if you have any questions, if you’d like to take a look around, or if you’d like to get a trial going. And if you have any suggestions for how we can better suit your needs as a freelancer, entrepreneur, remote worker or other brand of wandering professional, we’re all ears, always.
