Really excited to share a new event we have coming up:
We're broadening our efforts to support entrepreneurship in Nashville, launching a new one-day workshop geared toward aspiring entrepreneurs in need of approachable, practical business education.
The first Introduction to Entrepreneurship session is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, led by The Skillery's founder, Matt Dudley. During the daylong program, we'll work through the basics of setting a new business up on a strong foundation, from finding customers to branding, marketing, legal and accounting.
Like our nine-week CO.STARTERS at The Skillery business development program, Intro to Entrepreneurship was specifically designed to be hands-on and action-driven, trading lectures and PowerPoint presentations for creative and collaborative work on your specific business ideas. You'll work through a custom version of the Business Model Canvas to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses, test assumptions and tweak messages, refining and strengthening your business ideas to set them up for success.
Introduction to Entrepreneurship is open to all aspiring entrepreneurs, and registration ($199) includes course materials, coffee, breakfast, lunch, snacks, a post-workshop happy hour and a few Skillery surprises.
The workshop runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at our place in Germantown (1323 6th Ave. N.), and registration is open now.
